The All Faiths Food Bank services Sarasota and Desoto counties to help feed hard-working families who simply cannot make ends meet. Among the programs and events provided by the All Faiths Food Bank Foundation, the Annual Holiday Food Drive is one of the largest.

The Susan G. Komen Grants program dedicates itself to supporting research that would help identify and deliver breast cancer cures. By far the largest non-government funder, their commitment has contributed to every major advance in breast cancer over the past 25 years. Their grants have enabled medical companies all over the globe assist in this contribution.
The Breast Health Center at SMH and Breast Health Inc., are such organizations dedicated to helping the cause of curing breast cancer. Breast Health Inc., provides financial stipends for support services to low-income, uninsured women & men diagnosed with breast cancer and promotes a variety of assets to help promote awareness and prevention.
The Breast Health Center at SMH provides a full spectrum of screenings and pre-detection testing to help prevent breast cancer before it starts. SaraPath Diagnostics®, in association with the Susan G. Komen Grant, has teamed up with these two organizations to provide a full scope of laboratory services to aide in the early detection of breast cancer.
SaraPath Diagnostics® has partnered with Sarasota Memorial Hospital to provide free inpatient/outpatient services through the SMH Community Medical Clinic. These include laboratory services for Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Breast Health, Oncology, Hematology and Urology to name a few.
The mission of the SMH Clinic is to provide specialty care referral services to the residents of Sarasota County who demonstrate a financial need, whom are uninsured or underinsured, or those who cannot receive specialty care due to financial distress. SaraPath Diagnostics® is proud to be a partner in this important endeavor.
Founded in 1994, the Department of Juvenile Justice strives to promote safe and nurturing communities for children and families. Their mission is to reduce juvenile delinquency thorugh effective prevention, intervention and treatment services to strengthen families and turn troubled youths’ lives around.

The need for early cancer detection is great and following the initiatives with the Breast Health Center of SMH and Breast Health Inc., SaraPath Diagnostics® expanded its reach and partnered with the Florida Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program to continue the fight against Breast cancer on an ever-widening scale.
The FBCCEDP was created in response to the Breast and Cervical Cancer Mortality Act of 1990. This program is available statewide and provides free and low-cost screenings for breast and cervical cancer.
SaraPath Diagnostics® has expanded its laboratory services to assist the community of Hardy County. Through their relationship with DeSoto Memorial Hospital, Hardy County Health Department constituants can benefit from the laboratory program designed by SaraPath Diagnostics® which helps families and patients in need of specialized care.

Founded in 1955, Mote Marine Laboratory has been a world leader in marine research. Mote is an independent nonprofit organization and has seven centers for marine research, the public Mote Aquarium and an Education Division specializing in public programs for all ages.
SaraPath Diagnostics® provides Mote Marine Laboratory with pathology services to assist the laboratory in their educational research and efforts to preserve and promote marine life.
Understanding the hardships that occur during economic distress, SaraPath Diagnostics® designed a community assistance program that provides free laboratory services to charity and hardship patients throughout the year.
The laboratory assistance program is available to any patient without regard to race, ethnicity, gender, religious preference, disability or any other issue. The program provides assistance to those patients whom are eligible and are determined to have insufficient financial means to pay for their healthcare or for their loved ones.
SaraPath Diagnostics® has partnered with the Sarasota and Manatee County Health Departments to supply pathology and laboratory services for underpriviledged families and patients who reside in Sarasota and Manatee County.
The SunCoast Blood Bank has been providing quality blood products and services to hospitals and health centers since 1949. They hold more than 1000 blood drives annually with more than 24,000 units collected. SaraPath Diagnostics® and its employees have been donating to the Annual Blood Drive with the SunCoast Blood Bank for over 10 years and continue to do so.

INCCA and CerviCusco are nonprofit organizations, with diverse medical providers and volunteers, dedicated to the prevention of cervical cancer in disadvantaged populations worldwide with CerviCusco concentrating in Peru. In conjunction with INCCA and CerviCusco, SaraPath Diagnostics® is proud to be a contributing partner and to donate medical supplies to this worthwhile and important endeavor.

The Toys for Tots campaign was founded with the sole purpose of sending a message to less fortunate youngsters that hope and dedication can assist them to become responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.
The foundation reaches out to community leaders throughout the United States to aide in the development of the nation’s most valuable resource. Local businesses collect and distribute toys for three months of the year as well as contribute to local events throughout the year to increase awareness and interest in America’s youth.
United Way was founded in 1887 to combat the issue of welfare and organized a single fundraising campaign for 22 agencies. Today United Way’s goals are to improve education, assist in financial stability and promote healthy living and currently has a network of nearly 1800 organizations in 45 countries and territories. SaraPath Diagnostics®, through the SMH Health Care Foundation, is a proud sponsor of United Way in their support of agencies that provide programs to those in our local community who need help.
